A session journal and an options journal

TradeZella fills the journal from the broker. Once the account is connected, closed trades arrive with entry, exit, size, and P/L. The product also covers replay of the session, a manual backtester, and Zella AI for tagging, reviews, and a written plan. In July 2026 the plans moved to Essential at $35 a month, Pro at $59, and Ultra at $99. Annual billing is listed at $26, $44, and $74 a month. Replay starts on Pro. The manual backtester on the pricing page covers stocks, futures, crypto, and CFDs. Options are part of the journal: the company describes options charts and expiration reports. Confirm the plan table on tradezella.com before you subscribe.

Vega trader does not sync a broker and it does not replay a tape. You enter the option legs yourself. The trade then carries current P/L, break-even points, and the four Greeks, with real-time quotes on Essential and delayed quotes on Free. Rolls stay attached to the same trade. The expiration calendar lists what is about to come off.

What you review

TradeZella is aimed at the trading day: when you made money, which setup you tagged, and what the replay shows about the exit. That review works across the markets your broker trades. Zella AI is included with the subscription and spends a monthly pool of credits.

Vega trader reviews the option position. You can ask which open trades share a short delta, which names expire this week, or why a strategy lost money. The answer comes from the journal. Vega AI on Free uses DeepSeek. Essential uses Gemini. Nothing is sent to the broker.

Which one to pay for

Choose TradeZella when the broker connection, the replay, and a journal that also holds futures or stocks are the product you want. Budget for a paid plan. There is no permanent free tier in the July 2026 pricing.

Choose Vega trader when the position is a call spread, a condor, or another US option structure and you want its Greeks and payoff without a replay product around it. You can start on the Free plan and use the 14-day Essential trial without a card.

  • TradeZella, when import, replay, and a multi-market day journal are the workflow.
  • Vega trader, when the workflow is the option position, its Greeks, and its expiration.
