Options performance analytics
A win rate without the size of the wins is a compliment, not a statistic. The dashboard reports both, from the closed trades in your journal.
Twelve stats on the book
Strategies and accounts summarize closed trades with twelve figures: total profit, trade count, winning trades, losing trades, average profit, average loss, max profit, max loss, win rate, expectancy, average trade duration, and max drawdown. The dashboard adds payoff ratio and profit factor, which compare the size of wins with the size of losses.
Expectancy is the average result you would expect per closed trade from this history. A high win rate with a negative expectancy means the losses are larger than the wins. That is the comparison the sheet usually hides in a pivot table.
Charts for the same period
The equity curve shows how recorded profit moved through the period you select: 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, year to date, 1 year, or all history. Month by month shows profit and loss for each month in that window. Chart resolution can be 15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week, or 1 month when the snapshots support it.
Dashboard analytics are on the Free plan. The same twelve stats on a named strategy or a named account are on Essential.
