Free options profit and loss calculator

The calculator is a public sketchpad for US option structures. You build the legs, then read the payoff before you send anything to a broker.

Build the position

Search a stock or ETF, pick an expiration, and add calls, puts, or the underlying from the chain. You can also start from a predefined structure: long and short calls and puts, credit and debit verticals, straddles and strangles, or iron condors and iron butterflies.

Each contract uses the usual US multiplier of 100 shares unless the ticker says otherwise. The chart shows profit and loss across underlying prices at expiration, including the break-even points for that combination.

No account required

The calculator opens without signing in. Quotes on this page are delayed. Share the link if you want someone else to see the same legs and the same payoff.

When the structure is the one you want to track, create a free account and log it as a trade. The journal then keeps live P/L, Greeks, and the expiration date with the position.

What the payoff chart is

The smooth curve is a European-style Black–Scholes sketch with a flat rate. It is there so you can see how price, implied volatility, and time change the shape. It does not model dividends or early exercise, and it is not a quote from an exchange.
