Options trade journal
The trade journal is the record of what you actually traded. Vega trader does not place those trades. You enter them, and the journal keeps the position, the result, and the history.
Active and finished trades
Open trades stay on the active list with the underlying, the legs, and the expiration. When you close a position, it moves to finished trades and the realized result stays on the record. The dashboard reads that closed history for win rate, average profit, average loss, and expectancy.
A trade can hold any combination you use: a single call or put, a vertical, a straddle, a strangle, an iron condor, an iron butterfly, or a custom set of legs. US stocks, ETFs, and their listed options are the supported market.
Adjustments stay attached
Rolls and adjustments are part of the same trade, not a new row in another sheet. You add or close legs from the option chain, or start from a predefined structure and then change it. The position you are managing and the history of how it changed stay together.
