Ask Vega AI about option trades
Vega AI is a chat inside Vega trader. You ask about the positions you logged, in plain language, and the answer comes from that journal.
What you can ask
Open the chat and ask what is working, what is exposed into expiration, or why a group of trades lost money. Vega AI can review open positions, live profit and loss, and Delta, Gamma, Theta, and Vega. It can also look through closed trades and point at the pattern, such as holding premium trades through a trend or opening after implied volatility had already fallen.
You can ask which structure fits an outlook, for example a defined-risk credit if you expect a name to stay in a range. The assistant can create a price alert from the conversation. It does not send orders to a broker, and it does not see buying power, cash, or margin at your broker.
The journal is the source
Answers describe the trades, strategies, and accounts you entered. If a position is missing from the journal, Vega AI cannot know about it. Log the legs you actually traded, including adjustments, and the chat has something real to read.
The same journal is available to Cursor, Claude, and other MCP clients. The in-app chat is the fastest way to start. Connecting an external client is useful when you already work in that tool.
Free and Essential
Every account can use Vega AI. The Free plan runs it on DeepSeek. Essential runs it on Gemini. Essential includes a 14-day trial, and the trial does not ask for a credit card.
